لیاخوف ، پالکونیک(سرهنگ) ولادیمیر پلاتونویچ لیاخوف

Polkovnik Vladimir Platonovitch Liakhov (1869 - 1920) was the commander of Persian Cossack Brigade during the reign of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar. He became a hated figure in Iranian history after shelling the Majlis, killing several rebel leaders on June, 24, 1908. Colonel Liakhoff served the Shah until July, 19, 1909 when he surrendered and was pardoned by the Constitutional leaders probably for the fear of a Russian attack after which he was sentback to Saint Petersburg. In 1917, he fought against the Bolshevik Revolution until the fall of Czar, when he fled to Georgia where he was killed.Polkovnik literally means Regimentary and is a military rank in Slavic countries equal to a Colonel. Lots of Persian sites take Polkovnik as the name of Liakhoff, calling him general Polkovnik by mistake (پالكونيك ژنرال روس).Unfortunately there has been such a trend of copying material without researching and investigating it has dominated Iran and forged diplomas and lies are the only key to success.
