    George Nathaniel Curzon,(Jan, 11, 1859 – Mar, 20, 1925) : a British Conservative statesman who was Viceroy of India and Foreign Secretary. He was an influential figure in forming British policy in the Middle East. His mistrust of Russian intentions led him to encourage British interventions in Persia.
