    درویش

Darvish is a Sufi aspirant. Darvish is a Muslim member of a Sufi fraternity. These mystics stressed emotional aspects of devotion through ecstatic trances, dancing, and whirling. Dervishes can be either resident in the community or be wandering, sometimes regarded as holy men who possess miraculous knowledge and power. Though viewed as unorthodox and extreme by some Muslims, the phenomenon has endured to the present.See also:- Gholamhossein Darvish (Wikipedia) - Darvish
