Mohammad Ali
Alaossaltaneh (other titles Moinolvozara, Prince) born (c 1838) was the son of
Mirza Ebrahim Mohandes, a high ranking foreign office civil servant. Alaossaltaneh got most of his education including
French and
Arabic in
Iran and completed his study in
Baghdad. He worked at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs for almost ten years before becoming ambassador to Tiflis and then
London for 18 years after which he got the title Prince from
Naseroddin Shah.During
Constitutional Monarchy Movement, Alaossaltaneh was present in almost all cabinet of ministers, and became
Prime Minister in 1913.
Ahmad Shah appointed him Prime Minister a second time in 1917 but Iran's chaotic situation and his health became an obstacle for his performance and he fell sick and died the next year.
