Artaxerxes is a Persian name belonging to several kings from the Achaemenid and Sassanid Dynasties.
- Artaxerxes 1. Makrocheir ascended the throne after the death of his father Xerxes.
- Artaxerxes 2. Mnemon was king of Persia from 404 BC until his death. He was a son of Dariush 2 of Persia and Parysatis.
- Artaxerxes 3. of Persia (ca. 425 BC – 338 BC) was the eleventh Shah of the Achaemenid Empire
